“Fonds de solidarité et de développement des initiatives étudiantes” also known as FSDIE is a French public fund created in 2001 to allow students enrolled in an institution of Higher Education and Research that has the status of a scientific, cultural and professional public institution to create personal extracurricular projects. The FSDIE of Sorbonne University sponsored our project. Their generosity and contribution for this kind of project is crucial.

Is a Sorbonne university master that helps students to specialize in several fields of Biology such as Immunology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Developmental/cellular biology. As most of our team members are enrolled in this master, their contribution for this project was also generous as well.
U F R D E B I O L O G I E
Is a multidisciplinary component covering all biological fields, where UFR stands for “Unité de formation et recherche” - meaning Training and Research Unit. It offers a complete and a high level training in several biological fields. It is very appreciated and its objective is to allow its students to enroll the masters of biology of “Sorbonne University” like other universities.
C F P B
"Centre de Formation Pratique de Biologie" has a high level technological platform dedicated to the practical education at Sorbonne University. CFPB offers us free access to its HPLC platform to analyse the fatty acids composition of the lipid droplets extracted from our microalgae.
C R O U S
Is a french governmental organization that helps more thans 2 million students by supporting them financially and in many other ways. The improvement of the student’s living conditions is their main goal. More specifically, they support various creative ideas like musical, cultural, artisitic projects. As for our project they financed the production of our comic strip: "The Journey Of Loran : From the jungle to the lab" in the paper version that will be distributed during our various cultural events
M A I S O N D E L A C H I M I E
Is a congress and conference center. Their contributions by their actions to the progress of chemistry and the promotion of its applications is remarkable. It maintains an international standard for their convention center and hosts a wide range of activities for chemists all around the world.
J O V E
Stands for Journal of Visualized Experiment. It is the one and only peer-reviewed scientific video journal that we can subscribe to.
It demonstrates various lab experiments from top research institution from all around the world.
L A B F O L D E R
Is an online electronic laboratory notebook that allows us to write and share about experiments but also to structure data. Their support encourage teamwork and improved productivity by saving time in the lab. Their help was especially very useful on a team organization and coordination level.
S N A P G E N E
Is an online software created by scientists that provides an efficient way to plan, visualize, and document biology procedures in daily life. It was very useful to illustrate the design of our genes efficiently. Snapgene served us for the designing of our genetic constructions beautifully, that these are displayed in our wiki page as you can see.
P R O M E G A C O R P O R A T I O N
Is an international leader with a huge portfolio containing several genetic, biological, biochemical products: “genomics, protein analysis and expression, cellular analysis, drug discovery and genetic identity for genomics, protein analysis etc.”. Their products are widely used in research. Their material helped us to carry out our experiment with great quality materials.
O Z Y M E
Are specialized in supplying laboratory products to conduct research. Ozyme offers reputed immunology and cellular & molecular biology products. It’s a Parisian company that is made up of approximately 40 collaborators, in which half of whom are well qualified scientists from engineering schools. They offer services in the areas of support and communication as well, for it to be technical and commercial.
Ozyme collaborates with the laboratories that are behind the discovery and commercialization of reference tools in various fields such as cellular biology, immunology and molecular biology.
