Safety

Safety concerns of our Miyagi wax printer is all about fire hazards when heating up wax. In order to prevent such hazards, we used paraffin wax, whose melting point is about 65 [℃] and ignition point is over 110 [℃]. Furthermore, we modified the printer firmware to shut off the heating system under potentially hazardous conditions, such as when the thermister came off from the metal holder. Details about firmware modifications are documented in our Github page.
