Graphic Design

We made it big

Introduction

Companies, teams and any kind of public organization employ logotypes as identifying elements. These logos are, therefore, graphic representations or symbols designed for the recognition of all kinds of audiences.

In the STAIN team we give our logo the recognition it deserves, with a strong awareness that it is the first image we show. That is why the team members in charge of its creation have gone through an exhaustive development process until arriving at the synthesis of a final model.

First Phase

First and foremost there was a brainstorming session in which the concepts of our three main colours (red blue green), the inclusion of a fruit or something organic, and the importance of circular continuity as indispensable features of the design were highlighted.

In this way drawings were sketched such as those observed in the picture where we fused a strawberry, a fruit that is identified with our hometown, and a pen that expels ink, creating a circular shape.

However, this design was too complicated reducing the possibilities of using it as a signature.

Second Phase

After these first models we focused on simplifying the design and a second brainstorming took place, this time focusing on more minimalist logos and prioritizing the importance of these being both easily vectorizable and effective.

Our final logo

Taking into account the guidelines mentioned, the idea of a circular leaf was chosen and developed, which led to the idea that each strip would contain a color.

Finally this last design was vectorized and digitalized, thus arriving at the logo we use today. It can be with a black outline or without it on a black background, with the additional possibility of including a simple text.
