with KUAS_Korea
We had a team meetup with collegiate team KUAS_Korea at Korea University for mentorship and exchanging ideas. Firstly, We are the first time in iGEM but KUAS_Korea participates in iGEM since 2009. So they give us very useful advice from their experiences. We have had time to explain about each project. KUAS_Korea's project is making a bioluminescent stress detector to raise experimental animal rights. They detect cortisol levels and show it by bioluminescent. We learn the entire flow of iGEM. It was a great time.
with Korea_HS and SIS_Korea
We had a team meetup with high school team Korea_HS and SIS_Korea for sharing ideas. Since all of us are the first time in iGEM, mutual advice was more helpful for each team. First, each team presented their project to other teams. After the presentation, we had time to ask questions about the contents and give advice on their plans. SIS_Korea's project was about PET degradation device and Korea_HS's project was about Hyperstable antibody. Both are imaginative and unique projects. Since the progress of each team was initial state, every advice have a huge effect on the project of each team.
