How this project got Diana'd

In our initial project brainstorming, iGEM Calgary thought it would be a great idea to do a project about beer and improving fermentation.

We even did HP!!!! And included a sneak peek on our instagram.

But quickly after, we realized that 14 undergrads could not solve a billion dollar industry.

But iGEM Calgary's relationship with beer did not end there!!!!!

here is just a small slice of our beer-related escapades.

We eventually moved on to even harder liquors!! Distillery can also be synbio.... right?

we even integrated it with our chlorophyll project by creating a chlorophyll punch!!

You can bet that iGEM Calgary will continue the beers in Boston. Hit us up for a good time... we're always down for a good collaboration :P
