This team from the National Cheng Kung University won the Undergraduate Grand Prize with their biological systems for measuring and reducing p-Cresol levels, a uremic toxin that worsens the health outcomes of CKD patients.

For European winegrowers facing deadly plant diseases like Flavescence Dorée and Bois Noir, four weeks can be too long to wait for a diagnosis.
