It is an essential part of the project by which the problem statement
is justified & it gives data on my problems related to autoclave & its
positive points. The statements vary from field to field. Human
practices have done in 3 parts:

Lab assistants: from different fields like Biotech, Microbiology,

Why we approached them?
These are people who give us the glassware, media, chemical which are
sterilized. They sterilize the media, glassware, chemical in 2 batches
per day. That includes chemical, glassware, media
We learn that the process:
It was very time consuming, there were many precautions like water
level, pressure exerting mechanism, screws to be tightened before the
use.
What upgrade needs to be done:
The portability of autoclaves should be done. The time consumption
should be less. It should sterilize in a continuous process with
different & continues series of glassware, chemical, media. Safety
measures should be seen in precautions like low water level, pressure.

Professors: The professors which we asked were from a biology
background with different pure biology field.
Why we approached them?
They were the teacher who taught us how to use an autoclave, why it is
needed. They use an autoclave for academic purposes & their own
research.
What we learn:
The time-consuming process of an autoclave. The precaution of water
level, pressure output while taking out the equipment the hand gets
burned.
What upgrade needs to be done:
The portable autoclave should be made. It should be innovated by a new
system of sterilization. It should be usable in an open field.

Student: These are the group. Which used an autoclave for academic
purposes. They were taught by the teacher in practicals etc.
Why we approached them?
They use the autoclave for the practical. To know their view on the
autoclave machine.
What we learn:
The first appearance of an autoclave is like steel can. It is hard &
scary to operate the machine. The stink of discard Petri plates gives
a bad smell. The noise created by the autoclave. Hand burn during
media pouring.
What upgrade needs to be done:
It should be easy to use for understanding. The machine should not
create noise & smell. It should be easy to carry. Less time should be
used. There should be automated suspension of media.

Startup: These guys used sterilization in the product & raw material.
They used sterilization in the process.
Why we approached them?
They use this for sterilization techniques for research. The use of
sterilization for sterilizing media in mass, cockpit, etc. They use
different sterilization techniques like vapor.
What we learn:
The different types of sterilization like vapor, hydrogen peroxide,
etc. The impact of sterility in a biological product such as enzyme,
protein, etc.
What upgrade needs to be done:
It should be easy to maintain. It should be cheap & portable. The
machine should be made according to the specificity of the product.

Researchers: They do research in the specific field & specific
subject. The research done is specific to medical, environmental,
agricultural, etc.
Why we approached them?
They used sterile chemicals, media, glassware for research. The
different sterilization techniques for different media example
heat-labile, nanopore media, etc. The sampling technique in the
different research.
What we learn:
We learn different types of sterilization like gamma sterilization. We
came to know about the filtration technique. The need for sterilized
media, glassware, etc.in urgent.
What upgrade needs to be done:
Portability of autoclave machine. Time consumption should be less. The
flash sterilization technique should be there.

Industry: The industry like pharmaceutical, biotech industry, etc.
Why we approached them?
They used to sterilization for product making and the process. They
use autoclave industrial processes like alcohol formation, antibody
formation, vaccine preparation, etc. The do sterilization of bags,
syringe, bottles, etc.
What we learn:
We learn different materials are sterilized for packaging like
bottles, syringes. The quantity or batch sterilization process. The
importance of sterile packaging.
What upgrade needs to be done:
Cost-effective mass sterilization. Batch sterilization should take
less timing. The weight should be less of an autoclave for moving
transportation.
Integrated Human practices
The starport which we are making contains the upgrades according to
question which was asked verbally & google form was circulated. We got
some of the upgrades which we have by the data we have collected. The
up-gradation points we have:
We take less time consumption for the whole process takes 8 to 10
minutes.
We have used heating & UV radiation for sterilization.
It does not create noise disturbance.
It has all the precautions measures for UV.
The steam is not produced.
It is portable & easy to move. It has less weight.
It is easy to use.
The appearance of machine is good.
It has suspension system form media pouring integrated with machine
