The application of Cordyceps for treating diseases in China can be traced back to the 18th century.
Recently scientists have unveiled the active substance which is of great clinical potential in Cordyceps militaris —— cordycepin(COR) .
But the price of cordycepin is too high at approximately 1500 dollars per gram.
How can we lower the price of COR to make it more practical in clinical and laboratory settings?
