Tara

Tara studies at Sup’biotech and is a biologist. She is the most skittish person that I know, always wearing sweater if the temperature is under 30°C. However, she is as warm as the temperatures of her natal island, New Caledonia. She really is a kind person who always cares about others and her sense of humour leads to numerous laughter during the labworks I share with her. Hardworker and very organized, Tara tends to give the best of her in everything she does to reach as much as possible the perfection. When she doesn’t feel well, it is easy to make her happy: just show her some pictures of dogs (she has an unfailing love for them)! Tara by Léa

Laurence

Laurence is one of our three engineering students at Chimie ParisTech. She may be the smallest member of the team (in size), but she is full of great talents. Chemist, designer, or cook : her beautiful flyers delight us as much as her pancakes when times are though. As you can imagine, she is super active so when it’s time for a nap, she never declines/refuses ! She lived in Texas for three years so her perfect english helps us a lot. Fun fact about her : she loves the medieval period and role playing games. Her record is 8 hours playing without stopping ! Laurence by Marie

Ronan

The guy dressed in Superdry from head to toe (literally. Go ahead: look at his socks) with a smiling face? I would like to introduce Ronan, from Bretagne, affectionately nicknamed as "Mr. Aptamer" by the team, following his many public presentations (and deep explanations) on this subject. Second-year student in the engineering school Chimie ParisTech, he immediately got involved in the project and continues to brood it as if it were his own child. Although he's on all fronts, he's always present in case of problems: he's the one who will fight the team's slack blows by giving a hand, cooking some delicious soft cookies, choosing the good playlist or proposing activities. Quentin

Discreet but essential, without him no Wiki or Thellie! Hard worker and curious, nothing stops him, not even the most complex tasks such as wiki animations or video editing with a computer at the end. If he lets himself be conned by the wiki team, his courage will make him realize the most beautiful pages of our wiki. After these hard days, he sets on fire the dancefloor to decompress. Patient and professional, he will lead this project to the end. Kind and attentive, he is full of love, his little cat can testify to this. Sometimes naive, you never get tired of his dubious faces when faced with jokes. I would like to introduce you Quentin in second year at Chimie Paritech. Quentin by Clara

Léa

Léa is one of our biologists from Sup Biotech. Hardworking and dedicated to staying up late in the lab, she won’t hesitate to tell people (or malfunctioning enzymes) to cut the crap when she’s annoyed; but she hardly ever gets mad at her lab mates. As you might guess with her big heart, she loves fluffy animals, whether it be a stuffed polar bear or a live rabbit. She will often say that she was born to be clumsy, but don’t let that fool you: her knowledge in biology is one of the team’s biggest asset. Léa by Laurence

Elise

She is one of our jurists studying at Paris-Sud University. Elise’s knowledge is very useful for the patentability of our project and to right confidential collaboration contracts. Moreover, few months ago, Elise joined the team wiki, to help Quentin and Alexandre with the design of our web page. Thanks to her artist soul and her spark of madness, Elise brings good atmosphere to the team. Elise by Vincent

Clara

Clara is one of our beloved legal experts. She studies at the Institut Jean Monnet in Paris in the field of intellectual property, and she's a top notch jurist ! She's hard working, and it's a pleasure to work alongside her. Her laugh his very communicative, and i can tell you that : she loves laughing; once she's started, she can't stop. If you see someone with a sweat during the summer, you've found Clara. If you've got something to work on, you can always count on Clara to help you achieve it ! Clara by Ronan

Alexandre

Curious and passionate, he blossoms using his knowledge in a multidisciplinary project and especially in the biology field. If he doesn’t show up first thing in the morning, make no mistake, it is because his frustration of the “almost good” drives him to fix an Arduino or a wiki problem the Team wiki was struggling with until the middle of the night. Self-taught, pedagogue and hardworking but also fun and outgoing he’s always up for making and sharing silly jokes or insane challenges (just ask him who George is...). Sometimes switching his status of Titan of the wiki for the one of Dionysos, he makes our iGEM journey all the more enjoyable! Alexandre by Quentin

Marie

Marie, 22 years old, is a double degree student at AgroParisTech and Chimie ParisTech. Curious and always looking for new opportunities to learn things and meet interesting people, you will find her on all fronts of the project: design, financing, human practices and even in the laboratory ... a real wrench! With her pronounced southern accent and her words coming out of nowhere, she participates in the good mood within the team. But beware of her softness, she can flatten you on the ground anytime as an All Black player! Marie by Tara
