Description: DTU will host the 7th Annual BioBrick Tutorial April 12-14th. The tutorial is a combination of hands-on BioBrick assembly workshop in the lab, presentations about the iGEM process, and a chance to get to know the other Nordic teams.

Location: NYU Shanghai

Description: The NYU Shanghai team will be hosting the iGEM Shanghai Regional Conference. Local iGEM teams are invited to share their previous competition research, help each other troubleshoot for future experiments, and learn about ways to continue their passion of synthetic biology beyond the competition for the 2019 season.

Description: Kick off the iGEM season with a different kind of meetup! We invite you to Bonn to celebrate the iGEM values with us in a festival-style meetup, attend exciting talks from research scientists, present your teams in a fun way, share ideas and receive feedback, visit the famous Rhein in Flammen and Panama Opening festivals in Bonn with an incredible firework show, visit the Cherry Blossom Avenue, and attend various workshops. The meetup is an initiative started by European Ambassador Nemanja and our team with goals to connect iGEMers with a fun event, include After iGEM with a separate workshop, and promote and recruit potential new teams. Itinerary: 9:30AM to 5:20PM
Description: In this event, many iGEM teams are invited and will take turns to talk about their own projects, progress they have made and difficulties they have met. During this period, other teams can ask questions or help solve their problems to achieve the purpose of learning and communication among teams.
The Meetup will start at 9:30 a.m. and end at 5:20 p.m.. Eight teams will be on the stage to give speeches. Meanwhile, we have invited Dorothy, the Asian iGEM ambassador, to give us a lecture on how to prepare the competition, which can help us improve and further our project.

Description: The Nordic iGEM Conference (NiC) is a three-day meetup for the Nordic iGEM teams. This year the event is hosted by University of Copenhagen. There will be workshops, a mini-jamboree, an After iGEM panel discussion and social activities to strengthen the ties between Nordic iGEM teams.

Description: The Third iGEM Nanjing Regional Meetup is held by China Pharmaceutical University iGEM (CPU_CHINA) team. In this meetup, many teams are invited to share their own projects and communicate with the others, to achieve the purpose of learning and communicating among teams. We also invited many experienced iGEMers to provide suggestions to each team, which can further their projects.

Description: We will present our team UPNAvarra_Spain, talk about what synthetic biology can do for our society and show a documentary called Genesis 2.0..
The film observes the harsh and dangerous life of so-called mammoth hunters on the remote New Siberian Islands in the far north of Siberia. The resurrection of the mammoth is a first track and manifestation of the next great technological revolution, synthetic biology.

Description: A chance to discuss iGEM projects, meet other teams, and get excited for iGEM!!!
The 444 Building is used as a creative and collaborative center for AFRL and other researchers. It stands in the heart of the innovation district in Downtown Dayton. Just down the street is Wilbur and Orville Wright’s bicycle shop where they initially designed the Wright Flyer!

Itinerary: A round-table discussion session in the morning at the university and activities in the afternoon at the St Cyr Lake
Description: iGEM Poitiers team organize for the first time a French Meetup. It will occur during the whole day. It will be a friendly meeting with a round-table discussion in the morning for the presentation of the different teams and their projects. In the afternoon the teams will share a convivial moment after lunchtime at the St Cyr Lake where they will do some activities to know more each other.

Description: The German Meetup will be hosted in Düsseldorf, Germany from July 5 - 7, 2019. There will be exciting talks, a panel discussion and poster presentations, where we invite you to present and discuss your team’s project. Description: iGEM Thessaly is really happy to host the first iGEM Greek meetup at the city of Larissa. The main idea is for the Greek teams to come together and exchange ideas, knowledge, and visions. There will be exciting talks by great scientists in the field of Synthetic Biology, presentations of the team’s projects as well as interactive activities that will give us the opportunity to get to know our fellow iGEM participants. Let’s not forget that Larissa is known for its amazing tsipouro, so it’s also our obligation to enjoy it with our fellow Greek iGEMers.

Description: IISER Bhopal is proud to host this years' All India iGEM Meetup. Itinerary: We will most likely be starting at 8AM to 10AM (GMT+8)
Description: Our discussion will be centered around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of 17 goals that the United Nations (UN) has set to achieve by 2030. MUN Impact, a Model United Nations (MUN) initiative, encourages high school students to use the SDGs as a framework to create projects to tackle global issues, such as taking action against climate change. We hope to raise awareness of the SDGs. Through this conference, we will help each other align our projects with the SDGs and take steps to turn our projects into reality!

Description: On September 19th, 2019 the Israeli mini Jamboree will be taking place in Tel Aviv University, Israel. The attending teams would have the opportunity to practice their presentations for the Giant Jamboree. Each team will be judged according to the official judging form and will receive feedback from experts. In addition, the team members would be able to use the meetup for socializing and collaborations.

Description: The iGEM KU Leuven team, Aachen and GO Paris Saclay teams are proud to announce a new conference hosted in the heart of Europe. The KU Leuven team will host several key note speakers from all over Europe, workshops and a practice session for the great jamboree! Alongside the assemblage of speakers and interactivity, there will be poster and presentation session to allow your team some practice for Boston, and a lovely Black Tie dinner to relax on a weekend night.
