Among the ten basic parts designed this year by ourselves, BBa_K2922040 is our favorite one, which comes from human genomes. The gene enables engineering bacteria to form a vesicle which will have great applications in the enrichment of substrate (such as metal ions) through extracellular membrane and the enhancement of cell stress resistance.
