During the decomposition process, the number of microorganism bursts and solvent oxygen is quickly consumed. A kind of water containing micro-nano bubbles called \u201cmilk water\u201d is used to make algae float on the surface of water, and then the algae is scraped off to achieve the purpose of separating the algae from water. The separated water can be reused. The separated algae needs to be dehydrated again to become algae sludge. Algae sludge can be manufactured into organic fertilizers, or used as fuel for power generation or in biomedical applications. However, the cost of the above methods is high, and they can not effectively utilize algae, so they can not be put into large-scale application. As a result, most algae treatment nowadays schemes are mainly incinerated. Incineration not only can not utilize algae, but also can cause additional environmental hazards. Proteins extracted from amphioxus can degrade algae into non-toxic and harmless nutrient molecules, which may solve the problems faced by algae control today. These research results broke new ground for the ecological usage of cyanobacteria and were commented on by Nature.
