Introduction

The ultimate goal of our program is how to apply our system to our society. Therefore, our team has also spent some time thinking about the business model we can carry out. We have come up with two possible applications.

1. Flue-gas stack

Put the modified E. coli into the flue system, through the E. coli system, carbon dioxide in the exhaust gas from the factory could be fixed, and simultaneously produce DMS as condensation nuclei. Thereby achieving our desire to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and increase clouds cover.

SWOT Analysis

In order to assess the viability of the Flue-gas stack, our team considered internal and external factors in a SWOT analysis, which examined our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

2. Artificial rainfall material

We expect to use the DMS produced by our E. coli system as a new artificial rain material, which is expected to be more efficient and cheaper than traditional materials.

Future Development

Once our product enters market in the future, further achievement and development should be done in order to meet needs of different companies in different area.
