As one of our founding members Alex was dedicated to our project from the very beginning. Thanks to his sociable personality he was able to easily recruit new members for our team and inspire them to commit to the project. This also led to his role as a team leader. Biology #primerdesigner Ben loves the practical work in the lab very much. His enthusiasm and diligence have led us through many long laboratory nights. His obsession with organic chemistry led us to learn something new every day, whether we wanted to or not. Chemistry #labnights Celine is very ambitious about iGEM. Her great ideas makes her a very
valuable part of our team. She does a lot behind the scenes, especially for the the wiki. She's
our dancing queen and if there is a good song she can't sit still for long, not even in the lab.
Not only for this reason lab time with her passes very quickly and is always a lot of fun. Molecular Life Sciences #dishwasher Jannika takes care of countless tasks in our team. Most importantly she handles our finances, manages our labs supply and organizes our lab work. She constantly impresses us with her amazing organizational skills making her an integral part of our team. In her very limited free time, she loves sailing and cooking. Biology #financeconquerer Linus is a very clever fellow. Especially in the early days of our project he was always be found in the lab. Always with a smile on his face and in the mood for some joking. He has also been very committed to the part design of our project. Moreover he had a substantial role for the troubleshooting because always keeps cool when a new problem rise up. Biology #labman Lukas is one of our team leaders. He expertly organizes our laboratory workflow as well as the time
management. He successfully leads the team meetings and gives the flow of conversation a common
thread. The lab time with him is very amusing and always worth an experience. The team benefits
from his expertise and willingness for and outside the team. Chemistry #snafu-trafo Marie is a very positive and empathetic person. A fair treatment of the environment and her
fellow human beings is especially important to her. With her communicative character she
can inspire everyone. That's why she is our instagirl and Facebookoholic. You can talk to her
for hours without getting bored. She works hard in the laboratory and is always available
when needed. Molecular Life Sciences #instagirl Mathias is a very enthusiastic and motivated team member. He is always there when there is
need, although he is currently working on his bachelor thesis. He is always anxious to
document his work well so that the whole team can understand. So he is the perfect man for
our special human practices project on which he put a lot of effort. Biology #organized Merrit is the feel-good factor of our team. She organizes a lot of fun activities outside the lab and supports the team with her expertise and confidence within the lab. Even during long weekends in the lab she never fails to make the work enjoyable for the other team members around her. Also, she writes a very successful blog for one of our sponsors. Molecular Life Sciences #mum She is the heart and brain of our team. As our team leader, Stine organized and coordinated our project precisely and always on time. Even when the work became stressful or when the team was confronted with other challenges, she unfailingly proved her good judgement and determination. But to witness her full power try to beat her in the card game Wizard - good luck with that! Molecular Life Sciences #igemforever Although Paul's previous studie did not have much to do with synthetic biology, we were able to
convince him to join our team. He really enjoyed getting in contact with a new field of
biology and has always been very engaged and always ready to help. What particularly distinguishes
him is his positive attitude and good mood and that he is always up for a bit of fun Biology #mrniceguy Lucas became part of our team shortly after we found our project. His calming yet motivating nature
helped us a lot during the project. As he plays handball, team play was a matter of course for him,
which improved the team spirit. Because of these qualities, he also worked as a mediator in a team.
He coordinated all our sponsoring activities and acquired a lot himself. Biology #moneymaker Hanna became part of our team this spring. As she had already completed an apprenticeship
as a technical assistant she has a lot of experience. We have often benefited from her
knowledge and experience. She knows where to save time and resources in the lab. Why
taking unnecessary steps? Nobody has time for this, especially not in iGEM! Molecular Life Sciences #pragmatist Lisa
is cool like a freezer.

Always enjoying la viva. Molecular Life Sciences #designqueen Marcel joined our team in the spring of this year. It is remarkable that he also participates in
iGEM in addition to his bachelor thesis. That's why he usually works in the laboratory in the
evening. He is a pleasant conversational partner and always has a good tip ready. We can
