We’re really appreciate everybody’s help who made it possible to achieve our goals in connection with our project. We are very lucky, because we had the opportunity to have meetings and do experiments in our School District's Science Laboratory, which is very modern and well-equipped.

Project support and advice:

In the first place we would like to say a huge thanks to Dr. Judit Padisák, Dr. Gábor Vasas, Anikó Szabó, István Nagy and Nikoletta Borák. When we came out with our project idea, we asked help from Dr. Judit Padisák who gave contact to other professionals and also told interesting and helpful facts about the microcystis. We made contact with Dr. Gábor Vasas, who offered us to take place in his presentation at the University of Szeged and after he gave a private meeting about how to keep the microcystis under right condition. Furthermore, he gave a whole Microcystis Aeruginosa culture what we used for our experiments. Anikó Szabó and László Vígh helped designing and ordering our primer. István Nagy and Nikoletta Borák assisted in the DNA sequencing.

Lab support:

We are extremely grateful to the Biological Research Center of Szeged especially to Dr. Szilvia Zita Tóth and her team, by name Dr.László Kovács, Anna Podmaniczki and Dr. André Vidal Meireles who raised our Microcystic culture and gave opportunity to take samples of it. They were very helpful, they answered every questions what we’ve sent them and they often informed us about the condition of the algae culture. Also we’re greatly appreciate the help of our school laboratory’s staff, by name Andrea Borbola, Enikő Gulyás and László Kiss.

Difficult lab support:

We didn’t need so many special equipments for our project. But we had to use an algae room for raise the Microcystis culture, but Dr. Szilvia Zita Tóth’s team in the Biological Research Center of Szeged did this task for us. Fundraising help and advice: The Biocenter, the Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), the Twist BIoscience, the Human Resources Support Management (Emberi Erőforrás Támogatáskezelő) provided technical and financial help for our project. Their supports helped to decrease and cover the registration fee and the lab costs.

Human Practices support:

Our team wants to say a special thanks to László Tóth who is fishpound owner. He told informations about different types of water cleaning system, he informed us about the condition and problems of the adjacent lakes specifically about the algal blooming. Furthermore, he shared the other fishpond owners’ opinions about the eutrophication and also the biological cleaning system.
