CBS: The CBS (Centre de Biochimie Structurale CNRS UMR 5048 - UM - INSERM U 1054) was the host lab of our experiments. Research at the CBS is at the forefront of Structural Biology, Biophysics and Bioengineering as a mean to describe and understand the fundamental physicochemical mechanisms underlying biological processes, from the molecular to the cellular and tissue level. They gave us a lot of support and time to help us towards the competition.

Université de Montpellier: The “Université de Montpellier” gathers higher education and research in the city of Montpellier. Today it is the 8th largest university in France, and the first worldwide in ecology, according to the Shanghai ranking. The “Université de Montpellier” is supporting our research both financially and structurally.

Faculté des sciences: The "Faculté des sciences" of Montpellier is one of the components of the University of which the majority of the team members are from. This faculty offers a broad planel of science training very comprehensive and supports us since 2018 in the realization of the project iGEM. This year they gave us financial support.

MUSE: The MUSE "Montpellier UniverSity of Excellence" project mobilizes the strengths of 19 institutions towards a common ambition: to create in Montpellier an intensive thematic research university, internationally recognized for its impact in fields related to agriculture, environment and health. MUSE and the CSIP (“Centre de Soutien à l’Innovation Pédagogique”) contributed to the organisation of the bootcamp at the beginning of our iGEM adventure and also supported part of the registrations at the Giant Jamboree through a sponsorship “Muse Connect”. We won the "Coup de coeur du jury" (Jury’s favorite) project prize at the time of the student initiative trophies of MUSE with the last year Comic Book Vagineering.

FSDIE: The “Fonds de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Étudiantes” is a financial tool for solidarity and animation of student life. Most of our travel expenses are supported by the FSDIE.

IDT: Integrated DNA Technologies is one of the largest manufacturers of oligonucleotides in the world, also offering solutions in genome editing, gene synthesis and sequencing. Many of our cloning and sequencing primers were synthesized by them and without their help, this project would not have been possible.

Genscript: As a pioneer and leader in gene synthesis technology with over 600,000 completed gene synthesis projects for scientists around the world, GenScript has the expertise to help achieving a scientist’s gene synthesis needs. We won the first place of their iGEM Sponsorship 2019 offering $4,000, which allowed us to provide us with miniprep kits, PCR extraction and purification kits, antibodies and accomodation in Boston!

NEB: New England Biolabs provide enzymes and a wide array of essential buffers, as well as solutions supporting genome editing, synthetic biology and NGS for life sciences applications to many labs around the world. We would like to thank them for their free products (iGEM KIT), as their enzymes played a central part in our experiments and their kits and assays were important benchmarks.

INRA: The “Institut national de la recherche agronomique” is the Europe's leading agricultural research institute. We would like to thank INRA Montpellier for their financial contribution in the organisation of our bootcamp at the very beginning of our iGEM adventure.

Gallia sécurité: Is a service that propose durable solutions to effectively protect construction sites against burglaries or to monitor your belongings using high-tech systems. They contributed in the initial funding of KARMA by supporting us financially.

CROUS Montpellier Occitanie: “Culture-ActionS” is a national program that offers the possibility for all types of student initiatives to obtain a funding. Whether the project is cultural, artistic, humanitarian… , the CROUS can help. In our case, this program allowed us to print the comic book “Vagineering” made by the Montpellier 2018 team and to print our sweaters.

LabEx NUMEV: NUMEV seeks to harmonize hard and computational sciences approaches to life and environmental sciences and pave the way for emerging interdisciplinary groups with an international profile. NUMEV stands at the crossroads of multi-disciplinary activities and skills, a position that makes it ideally suited to provide a powerful and effective development and structuring tool to MIPS (Mathematics – Informatics – Physics – Systems) scientific community. They have supported us financially and that helped us to buy Lab materials and goodies.

SnapGene: SnapGene provides the easiest and most intuitive way to plan, visualize, and document your everyday molecular biology procedures. That’s why scientists at leading institutions and companies around the globe rely on SnapGene every day. They offered us free license during iGEM competition that helped us a lot on designing our constructs.

MathWorks: MathWorks is the world's leading developer and provider of engineering software for mathematical computation and model-based development for engineers and scientists. Founded in 1984, MathWorks actively supports local and professional communities. They provide educational institutions with free softwares, tutorials and more. They gave us free licences in order to facilitate the analysis of our results.

Oxeltis: OXELTIS is an independent medicinal chemistry oriented service company that provides competencies and resources necessary for the success of your projects involving medicinal and fine organic chemistry in the fields of pharmaceutical, diagnostic and academic research. They supported us financially and allow us to pay one of our giant jamboree registration.

In this section also we would like to thank all the 28 people that contributed to our crowdfunding.
