Bronze

1. We have registered our team in April, and spent our summer vacation and weekends in October to conduct our experiments, human practice, etc., and we are also planning to participate in the Giant Jamboree, presenting our project and communicating with other teams.
2. We have build up our wiki, designed our poster and prepared for the presentation for Jamboree.
3. We have finished and submitted our judging form.
4. We have described the detailed attributionsof our team members.
5. We have added quantitative experimental characterization data to the existing Part BBa_K346001, BBa_K346001.

Silver

1. We have designed, built and experimentally validated 3 new and functional biobricks. They are: BBa_K3143000, BBa_K3143341, BBa_K3143001. We have submitted the data and to the Registry of Standard Biological Parts.
2. 28 new parts have been submitted to the Registry of Standard Biological Parts.See more in our wiki page: Parts.
3. We have collaborated with QHFZ_China. They helpt us on measuring the harm of heavy metal ions to living things, and we helpt them to test the property of their RinA_p80α amplifier on our Hg2+ sensor. We also attended CCiC and 2019 iGEM Beijing District Meeting, discussing our project with other teams. See more in our wiki page: collaboration.
4. Human Practice_Public engagement:
a. We have made a questionnaire about biotechnology in daily lives especially in sewage treatment.
b. We have conducted presentations about synthetic biology and our project in 4 high schools. See more in our wiki page: Public engagement.

1. Integrated human practice: We have visited a water-testing and a water-purification station to investigate the current measures to water pollution, and released a questionnaire to investigate the public's concern to this issue, and we found that the detection and purification of wastewater are still big issues that require better solutions, which inspired us to design our project. Also, we have made an investigation in Southern Africa to see their view on our project, and from their feedback, we realized that our final product could not only be targeted to water-purifying agencies but to individual communities as well, which contributed to the design of our hardware. Then we made an interview with professor Chen Xiaoyu from Oxford University and introduced our project, and based on his suggestion, we further optimized the design of our project.See more in our wiki page: Human Practices.
2. We have improved the part BBa_K1758343, which is a Hg sensor. We have changed the constitutive promoter used in this part and improved the effect of the sensor.
3. Model : Our project's sensor design is based on insight we have gained from modeling, See more in our wiki page Model.
4. Demonstration : We have demonstrated that our project can work as expected. See more in our wiki page: demonstrate.
